- Big : it means big in size, degree, amount, etc (big increace, big advantage, big increace)
- Large: used to describe one size in a range sizes of clothes, food, products used in the house, etc.. Large is more formal than big and should be used in writhing. Besides, it is not usually used to describe people.(large consignment, large city, large part)
Good point. Big is used in spoken form, but rarely used in formal writing. Good try.
